Tangerine — This is a happy oil - but it is also KEY in nearly all the blends and supplements YL makes for healthy digestion! It’s also amazing for pregnant mamas with morning sickness. I love adding it to my dryer balls (or add a few drops to a Seedlings Wipe for a dryer sheet!) to freshen laundry. This also comes in a vitality oil. Here is a recipe for the Head, Body, + Gut drink: Add to a glass with ice a full eye dropper of Mineral Essence, a splash of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar (has to have the Mother), a shot of MindWise, 4 drops of Citrus Fresh Vitality, then fill the glass 3/4 full with Ningxia, top it off with water. Stir it up and drink! Citrus Fresh can also help stimulate the right brain to amplify creativity and well being. Emotionally, spearmint helps one release emotional blocks! And it compliments all the citruses beautifully.

This purple flowering plant is hard to mistake, and it’s oil is amazing for a variety of things. However, we especially love it for female hormones as well as supporting fertility! To me, what I do now is very similar to what I did when we owned the coffee shops.

I share about a product I believe is needed and changes lives.

I get to love and serve my customers to the best of my ability.

I get to know my customers, what their favorite things to order are and what’s going on in their lives and they become my friends.

I get to lead a team, love them hard and cheer them on in their goals and dreams.

I get to be a part of something bigger than myself, something I love and believe is needed in the world.

I get to trust God daily, that the right people at the right time will come, because I work in an industry that is dependent on others.

Oils + Prayer

Using essential oils for processing my emotions, grief and trauma was a blessing I had no idea was coming my way. Learning more about how oils work with emotions was one of those rabbit holes I went down and never came back out. There is so much to learn about it and so much freedom to be found!

Did you know our emotions are stored at in cellular memory and resides in certain regions + organs in our body? That’s why they say the body remembers, because it is remembering all the things you have gone through at a cellular level! Using oils aromatically and apply them to certain areas of the body will help your body release things that you are holding onto that were never meant for you to carry. 

Using oils + prayer has brought an abundance of emotional healing in my life. I put together this Daily + Prayer and Oils map for you, I pray it blesses you too.

Valor - Bravery and Strength, apply on bottom of feet.

Jesus, you are my solid foundation for which I stand on. Everything else in this world is sinking sand, fleeting, a vapor. Harmony - Balance all emotions, apply over the heart. 

Jesus, you tell me in your Word that the heart is deceptive and that I need to take every thought captive. Help me to rely on your Spirit and not my flesh. Help me to listen to what You have to say about me, not what the world is screaming at me to be. Sometimes my emotions can overtake me because this world is heavy, but You God have overcome the world, my hope is in You alone. I rebuke the lies of the enemy that my emotions are what is true, Your Word is truth Lord. I choose to believe You and what you say today, even when it’s hard for me to comprehend it. (Jeremiah 17:9, 2 Corinthians 10:5, John 16:33)

Forgiveness -  Releasing hurt and pain, apply over belly button.

Jesus, you understand what it feels like to be hurt by those you love. Help me to remember that hurting people hurt people. Help me to forgive (insert name) today, for how they hurt me when they (insert what they did). I know that I have been forgiven by You for all my sins and it is in your grace that I can forgive anyone who hurts me. Satan scheme is unforgiveness, but You Lord are in the business of restoration and bringing dead things back to life. I rebuke the lies of the enemy that I have to hold grudges against anyone on earth any choose to believe your Truth that I can choose to forgive because you forgive. (Matthew 6:14-15, 2 Corinthians 2:10-11)

Present Time - Being fully present in this moment, apply behind ears. 

Jesus, I acknowledge that there is nothing I can do to change the past and nothing I can do to make tomorrow come faster. Living in the past or projecting toward the future is when anxiety sets in, You tell me in Your word to not be anxious and Trust You. You are omnipresent, I am not. When I choose to live in the present moment, that is where I will find Your loving presence. Help me to let go of the past with grace and wait in expectation for the good plans you have for me in the future. I rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell me I’ve messed up too much or tell me that I can control what happens tomorrow, I choose to loosen my grip and fall into your loving arms, today. (Matthew 6:34, Romans 12:2)

Release - Letting go of anger, apply over liver.

Jesus, you say in your Word that we should not let the sun go down on our anger. Help me to release my anger about (insert situation you are angry about). Our goal on earth is to be more like You,  and you are slow to anger and abounding in love. I want to be more like You, God. Help me to be more like You. I rebuke the lies of the enemy that holding onto my anger will change the situation, I chose to believe the Truth that You alone will make all things new. (Psalms 103:8, Ephesians 4:26)

Inner Child - Letting go of past, Apply under nose.

Jesus, heal me from the wounds of my childhood. Help me to release the pain and trauma of things that were done to me out of my control. Whisper to little (insert your name)’s soul that he/she is beloved and wonderfully made. Restore my heart, remind me today that Your works are wonderful and that you made me for a purpose. Remind me of the great plans you have for me. I rebuke the lies of the enemy who reminds me to visit my past over and over again. I choose to believe Your Truth that I am white as snow. (Matthew 5:48, Ephesians 2:10, Psalm 139:14, Acts 2:38)

Valor - believing and receiving all the above, apply on bottom of feet. 

Jesus, you found me out in the wilderness, in an empty, windswept wasteland. You threw your arms around me and lavished attention on me. Guarding me as the apple of your eye, cherishing me above all else. Like an eagle with outstretched wings, You cover and protect me, guide me and teach me. (Deuteronomy 32: 9-10)

Probiotic Drink Step #1 (Better than Kombucha)

My obsession with making my own fermented foods + drinks has become REAL these past few months. With Kraut Source, it is sooooo easy and makes just the right amount for our family. This post isn’t even sponsored, I just love this tool that much!

Let’s chat first, what’s the benefits of eating + drinking fermented foods?

• Choline: Sauerkraut contains choline, an amino acid needed for good liver health and the productions of acetylcholine. Tis is a neurotransmitter that helps with memory and it is a protective against Alzheimer’s disease.

I’ve been making my own fermented foods for about a year now, but just made my own fermented probiotic drink for the first time the other day! There’s no turning back now. Honestly, I like it better than kombucha! Especially to make it at home because this way you don’t have to deal with those nasty scobie things….#sorrynotsorry

A few things to keep in mind as you start:

+You want organic fruit. Non-organic fruit is sprayed with things that we do not want to be consuming, especially after it has sat in the warm sun for a few days.

+Use a good quality probiotic pill! Make sure it is not also a pre-biotic. I use Young Living’s Life 9 Probiotic because it has changed my life. PROBITOIC DRINK STEP #1

Yields: 1 quart

Supplies: 1 quart mason jar, Kraut source top

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup organic fruit of choice

• 1/4 cup organic maple syrup

• 3 1/2-4 cups filtered water

• 1 capsule Life 9 (probiotic)

DIRECTIONS

1. Place sweetened in one quart-wide-mouth Mason Jar. Pour filtered water in, stir until dissolved.

2. Open Life 9 Pill (probiotic pill) - releasing only powder into the jar.

3. Add in fruit, mix all together.

4. Place Kraut Source top on Mason jar and fill moat with 3/4 filtered water.

5. Place in warm spot for 2-3 days.

Ginger Blueberry Mocktail

I am a big fan of a good ol’ mocktail.

It you haven’t heard of the word mocktail before, allow me to explain. Mocktails hold all the deliciousness of cocktails without the alcohol. Most of the time half the fun of drinking the cocktail is because it’s fancy + fun, right? Enter: mocktails! Delicious, nutritious (at least the one’s I sip) and won’t leave you feeling like c-r-a-p the next morning.

I made this Ginger Blueberry Mocktail while at a friends cabin this weekend. It was dreamy; soaking up the sun, the smell of the grill and sitting by the water sippin’ this little number.

Stepping into the kitchen is when my creativity comes out. I love trying new recipes, chopping veggies on the cutting board, traveling via the food on my plate. These are the things that make my heart skip a beat.

GINGER BLUEBERRY MOCKTAIL

• 2 T. Frozen Blueberries

• 1/2 Inch Fresh Ginger, Minced

• 8 Ounces Sparkling Water

• 2-3 Fresh Mint Leaves, Mulled

1. Place mint leaves on bottom of glass, mull with a wooden spoon.

2. Mince fresh ginger and place in glass, with juices.

3. Place blueberries in glass.

4. Pour 8 ounces sparkling water.

5. Stir and enjoy!

*What I love about essential oils is they can easily replace an ingredient you don’t have on hand! Replace Ginger or Mint with one drop Ginger Essential Oil or one drop Spearmint Essential Oil on the blueberries!

Bedtime Body Butter

I know it’s kind of a weird name…but I liked the 3 B’s! You better believe that’s the label I put on it. ha!

Lately, I have been having trouble with sleeping. Which was new for me. I can usually fall asleep on demand! Anywhere, anytime. But lately, the moment my head hit the pillow it was like my brain was a freaking nocturnal hamster that wouldn’t stop spinning no matter what you say!

Enter, our lovely oily community. I popped into our Facebook group and asked what are some favorite oils and products people use to help them sleep. I got so many amazing answers and decided to try some new things! Here’s what I did:

+Turned off my phone by at least 9:30 pm and no screens after 9:30 pm (I try to make this 9pm if possible)

+Added Lavender, Frankincense, Valor and Peace + Calming to my lotion

+Put a full dropper of CBD under my tongue around 9:30pm

I slept like a freaking baby!!

Praises for oils. Hallelujah!

To make it easier to apply every night I wanted to make my own lotion (and, it’s fun to do!) It’s a super simple recipe.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup shea butter

• 2 T. coconut oil

• 5 drops each oil (Lavender, Valor, Frankincense, Peace and Calming)

DIRECTIONS

1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil over low heat until fully melted.

2. Once melted, put in fridge to cool for 20 minutes.

3. Once cooled, add your your stand mixer. Add 5 drops of each oil, and whip on high until fluffy.

4. Place in a mason jar with a lid and put by your bedside!

Put this on the bottom of your feet every night along with a dropped of CBD sleep goooooood.

*It’s a little “greasy” so I put it on when I am already in bed and will usually put socks on (because I love socks haha) My feet are so soft!!
